You've probably driven past St Thomas’ on the way to school, work or the shops. You might have even walked past it, as you walked down Thomas Street on your way to the station.
You might have been to a service, or a function here. You might have even glimpsed it from the train as you whizzed past.
The Church, however, is more than just a building. The Church is the People of God—that is, everyday people, living, and growing and exploring their faith in God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Church is sometimes described as a family, and that’s what we seek to be. We are here for good times and hard times. We are here for life, because God, and living our faith in God, is about life.
If you’d like more information about the parish, then this website is a good place to start. Come to one of the services, and discover more there too.
If you have any questions, especially about being baptised or married, then please speak with our Parish Priest, Canon Katherine Bowyer.
We look forward to welcoming you! Once upon a time well all have said ' I'm New ', or ' I'm back '. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!
